Design Objective: Design and build an autonomous robot to perform a time-specific task.
Role
• Be the team lead and do all the practical work from designing to testing the functionality of the robot.
• Assist in writing the report for the project.
• Assist in writing the report for the project.
Project Requirements
• Design and build an autonomous robot that could turn off an infrared-emitting beacon, find a second beacon (green beacon) and move it out of the arena.
• Goals for the robot design should be the most lightweight robot and the most time-efficient task completion possible.

Results
• 2nd overall in the most lightweight and time-efficient robot.
• Our robot weighed 1,730 grams (1.730 kilograms).
• The least time our robot took to complete all the tasks of finding the red beacon, turning the red beacon off, finding the green beacon, grabbing it, and moving out of the arena was timed to be 22 seconds using a stopwatch which was second fastest of the four groups in our section.
